He composes music using digital and analog instruments, but also uses unconventional devices such as stethoscopes, magnets, Tibetan singing bowls, live animals, thumb pianos, Game Boys and vintage synthesizers. He recently was nominated for "Best Original Score for a film" at the Canadian Screen Awards 2013 with Laurence Anyways. In 2012 he won the award for "Best Soundtrack" at Derapage short film festival and was awarded by the SOCAN Foundation in Canada as one of the "Best Young Audio-visual Composers of 2012" with RE:AX, short film. Through his career he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Xavier Dolan, Max Hattler, Lucy McRae, Clemens Behr and Isaac Niemand.
